| Roberta Kreider's Books
Roberta Kreider has been an amazing, unwavering ally and advocate for the rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons since she first wrote "15 Reasons Why I Have Changed My Mind."
Below are the books she has compiled and edited (Click on the name of each book to order through Amazon).
From Wounded Hearts Faith Stories of Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender People and Those Who Love Them (Second Edition). This was Roberta Kreider's first book. Over 50 people of faith have written their very personal stories, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their non-gay family members and friends. In creating the second edition, she said, "As my husband and I send this book forth again, we pray that it can continue to break down walls of fear, prejudice, and domination that surround our gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender friends and their families."

Together in Love Faith Stories of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Couples -Roberta Kreider's second book.
The stories in this book challenge the premise that gay couples are living in sin and are a menace to society. It also challenges the myth that being gay is all about promiscuous sex. One of the couples has celebrated over 40 years of life together.
The book provides a forum where these couples share their stories of faithfulness to God and to each other. A few of the stories have been written by family members.
The stories are from a variety of religious denominations and from locations in the U.S. and Canada. One of the stories is written by a woman of Jewish faith and her Mennonite partner.
The book is designed to help readers take a serious look at what it is like to grow up gay or transgender in a society that scorns and rejects people of diverse sexual orientation. I hope this book can guide many people to a better understanding.

The Cost of Truth - Faith Stories of Mennonite and Brethren Leaders and Those Who Might Have Been. Roberta Kreider's third Book in the SERIES OF FAITH STORIES from the GLBTA Community of Faith.
Until we meet and get to know a person of whom we are afraid or of whom we think negatively and discover that they are just as human as we are, our phobia will not leave us! This is the great value of the stories shared here. While not a personal meeting, nevertheless, we have the opportunity in reading them to get to know our sisters and brothers in Christ, their struggles, hopes, and aspirations. Some have served in pastoral roles and showed great promise until they shared their sexual identity, which has usually led to termination. This is a tragic loss to the church at a time when pastors are in increasingly short supply. It is also a form of violence against persons who cannot help that their genes are not "straight." In the foreward by Cornelius (C.J.) Dyck, retired seminary professor.
